The PHL’s Minnesota Whitecaps announced its schedule for the upcoming season starting with the season-opening weekend Nov. 5 (at Toronto) and Nov. 6 (at Buffalo) before the home-opening weekend series against back-to-back Isobel Cup champion Boston Pride at new home Richfield Ice Arena Friday, Nov. 18 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 19 (1 p.m.).

Born Again Jocks to host breakfast, Oct. 2

The Born Again Jocks, the Bloomington-based leisure-sports group comprised of those 55-and-older, will host its annual pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 at the Bloomington Events Center (Knights of Columbus, 1114 American Blvd. West). Tickets are $8 at the door for adults, kids under 6 are free. The breakfast is the only BAJ fundraiser to raise funds for scholarships presented to Bloomington high school seniors in the spring.

Richfield (3-0) hosts Kennedy (2-1) in its Homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 23. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Spartan Stadium.

Holy Angels (3-0) travels to Robbinsdale Cooper (0-3) as the Stars have outscored the opposition 121-49 and are coming off a 55-7 rout of South St. Paul. 

Jefferson (0-3) will host Robbinsdale Armstrong (3-0) at Bloomington Stadium at 7 p.m. Friday.
